Psychic Dreams: What Do They Mean?

By Tana Hoy

Dreams: A Gateway to the Psychic Realm

Generally, a dream is a term used to describe a series of thoughts, images or emotions that takes place during sleep. Dreams are known to unify the mind, body and spirit by allowing the conscious and unconscious elements of our mind and emotions to mingle and have free roam. Aside from this, dreams can also be more than a self awareness tool -- they are believed to be the connection to the psychic realm!

Dreams and their significance have been important to many cultures across the world ever since on a metaphysical level; and a lot of people have always taken into thought what their dreams suggest. Dreams are also viewed to echo lost memories, hidden emotions, and prophetic indicators or psychic connections.

Yes, dreams are a strong connection to the psychic world. The truth is, there are many kinds of psychic activity that happens while we sleep. Analysis shows that during sleep, our left-brain loses its inhibitions and our natural psychic gift of intuition becomes dynamic.

When is it a Psychic Dream?

But then if you think about it, every person dreams from time to time. So how will you be able to tell that it's a psychic dream? Generally, psychic dreams are those that make no sense at all. They're just usually glimpses, and at times the kinds that are particularly vivid, or those that provoke a strong emotional response.

What Do These Psychic Dreams Mean?

A psychic dream may either be realistic or symbolic in nature. While realistic dreams can be very detailed and easy to comprehend; symbolic dreams on the other hand (which make up about a third of psychic dreams), can seem to be unrealistic and difficult to understand.

Here's a look at 5 common dream themes and what they could perhaps suggest:

1. Flying. Flying in general, is related to lucid dreaming, and it symbolizes the strength of one's mind and will power. Dreaming of a smooth flight indicates that you are on top of things, and dreaming of having an issue in flight means the reverse.

2. Being Chased or Chasing Something. These are dreams that can be either good or bad. It's good in the sense that if you are the one running after something, it may emphasize your drive and aspirations to focus on something you want. However, a dream of being chased is a sign that you are in fear or you are trying to break free from something.

3. Falling Teeth. This dream theme is quite typical. Falling teeth usually symbolizes one's fears and concerns.

4. Nudity. Nudity can represent a wide variety of things based upon on your real life circumstance. But usually, it shows vulnerability or a fear of being exposed to others.

5. Falling. Dreaming that you are falling is an illustration of insecurities, instabilities, and worries.

The Reward of Psychic Dreams

Dreams of psychic origin have a lot of benefits. Generally speaking, they can offer you clues on what lies ahead, and how to understand things better in general. We dream for a cause. However the unfortunate part is, most people think that dreams are nothing more but just one among those unexplainable things in life.
