With only a few days left until the ten year anniversary of 9/11 in New York City, there is an uneasy feeling in the air surrounding that date. It is no wonder why because the destruction, loss of life and financial problems, have been burned into every true American heart. Our country was violently attacked on that horrific day. Using the birth date of NYC and the 9/11/2011 date, the astrological line up poses some very interesting things, which is the object of this work.

Conjunctions are present: Sun/Mercury and Sun/Midheaven and Midheaven/Mercury are present along with the minor aspect of a quintile for a total of four in this chart. This is interesting indeed and is significant.
Cycle beginnings and endings are often noted when a Sun and Midheaven are conjunct, and they will be conjunct on 9/11/11. Considering the current economic, political and financial conundrum pervading the USA, this cycle profoundly affect this country.

There may be increased activity in the political and social areas because of the way 9/11 is handled. This could easy rise the bar on emotional levels everywhere and leave some with a very bad feeling.
Most of us would rather not be in the situation we are. However, the dark cloud hanging over us may get blacker as this date arrives. Relationships at all levels have their ups and downs, and so it goes with the government, our politicians and our personal lives.
