9-11 New York City Tenth Anniversary Gloom or Doom

By Lou Raedwulfe

Two dates in 2011 have a significant impact on the thoughts and feelings of most every true American; Independence Day and 9/11. This year makes September 11th particularly strong because it marks exactly ten years since the infamous attack on the USA and in particular, New York City. From an astrology point of view, using the birth date of the USA and the 9-11 anniversary date, it is important to know where we started and what the future looks like.

History dramatically changed course on that fateful day in September 11, 2001. We as a people have been trying to make sense of it all because it changed the way we think of ourselves as a people and a great country.

At the risk of oversimplifying, a "progression" is the theory that the planets will advance one degree per year with the underlying proposition that a degree is equal to a day and a day is equal to a year. Using this approach, the astral march begins on July 4th, 1776 and completes its progressed path on September 11th, 2011. Using what is referred to as the Silbey Chart, the place of our country's birth is the City of Brotherly Love, Philadelphia, and the "time of birth" is 5:10 p.m.

When we analyze this progressed chart, it becomes apparent as the US and global financial aspects are clearly in chaos. It is also obvious the the political and social problems we are confronted with need attention. These circumstances are dividing our world and the chaos will not soon end.

When we take into account the planetary lineup, emotions are going to run even higher as Mercury and the Neptune regrade impact our thought processes as well as, our responses to these over-whelming situations globally. Our own Congress is clearly an example of thought processing at a standstill. Venus is playing its part causing us to force our opinions on others, which never works. Once look at the news and this is quite apparent.

There will be a tendency to push our own agenda's, forcing others to change their views. Not much will get accomplished, however, no matter how persuasive the the attempts may be. Over-reactions and excessive behavior and words may result.

During this period of time, Pluto's energy is pushing people to the edge of a cliff and to their wit's end trying to insinuate that their point of view is right. Neptune will be causing us to form opinions that are actually accusations which causes people to dig in their heals and point fingers.

Looked at in totally, September 11th, 2011 could mark some significant changes going forward. With strong emotions driving decision making, there is a great concern that impulsive actions or decisions, particularly in the political arena, could spell further difficulties in the financial realm. Both sides need to listen and heed society's larger viewpoint rather than placing themselves above the crowd.

Now is the time that our leaders should be working together for the common good and survival of our country before it slides over a cliff as other countries are going through right now. With the world upside down, there is a tendency to try and solve or resolve and international financial crisis when we have our own here in the US. This is not good.

It will soon be evident in the news that no one is on the same page in our county or on a global scale. There is no real plan anywhere to calm the fears of the countries at stake and this will lead to further woes in the financial economies of many. No one wants to take responsibility for their own actions while pointing to others who caused 'the mess'. This could lead to some businesses and institutions to be on their way out. It will be sad, however, also a reality.

The first 9/11 changed our nation's history forever, and this 9/11 has the markings of change once again. Change is as inevitable in the stars as it is for our own planet. This lineup in the heavens points to more and dramatic shifts around the world.
