Let The Great Powers Of Feng Shui Rule Your Roost

By Toni U. Wellams

The house of a person is his haven ----- his castle. It must be a structure that'll make him feel comfortable, successful, secured and protected. When it comes to feng shui and managing the energy flow inside one's home, there are three major areas to be considered: the bedroom, the bathroom and the kitchen.

Keeping the bathroom clean and beautiful is not only the thing that is important because in the said area you can find an element that plays to roles --- the water. Water stands for fortune and at the same time removes dirt. This means that each time you flush the water down the drainage there are also possibilities that you're also flushing family fortune. Hence, remember to keep the drainage covered most of the time. Moreover, the seat of the toilet must be closed if not used. Remember to close the toilet lid when flushing to keep fortune from getting flushed too.

The bathroom should not also be located in the middle of the house because the house is associated with earth and earth destroys water (bathroom) by absorbing it. If it is already in the middle of the house, skylights or mirrors must be installed. In addition, bathroom should not be next to the kitchen, since kitchen represents fire and water destroys fire. If it is next to the kitchen, hang mirror outside the bathroom's door to deflect the negative energy.

Bathroom and toilet should be separate because they have different functions. The other is meant for external cleansing and the other is intended for the internal. If the toilet is also located in the bathroom, it would be best if it won't be visible from the doorway. It could be behind the door or use curtain to shield it from view.

Now you are aware how to feng shui your own kitchen. Try to remember the tips above and check the position of the things in your kitchen. If you noticed that some things are not properly placed or are located in areas that make the energy flow in the room difficult then transfer them. Notice how this can help improve the feeling in your kitchen
