The FengShui Mirrors Of The Fall Season

By Avril U. Kantaar

Feng Shui and Landscaping. Let's correct the mistaken belief that Feng Shui is limited to landscaping because it integrates the beauty and good energy of having plants around. This is for your inner and outer surroundings, too. Feng Shui can also be used in any office or place of residence.

The use of plants for home or business dcor is applied by interior designers themselves. This is because plants can increase the flow of positive energy called qi. When a certain area lacks qi elements or if it's not sufficient, plants can be added. Hallways and sharp areas in a room are examples of places where sha qi is present. This is the negative energy that plants repel. Improvements must be made in places where sha qi resides. However, it's not always advisable to make drastic change because if a wrong plant is placed in the wrong area; it might be worse. How can it be done?

Amongst many things that need to be organized, it is but logical to de-clutter the fridge first and foremost. Just follow these simple steps. Prioritize expired food or if they're nearly expired. You don't want to risk chewing on decaying matter. If it doesn't say so on the label, you can try to sniff it to determine if spoilage has already begun. If you cannot determine this, toss it just the same. All of us have items that we purchase but seem to forget they're sitting there. If you hardly use it or never used it, get rid of it. It means that it's not necessary for your well-being and happiness, so it only takes space. Don't save your expensive Japanese mayo even if it's still half full but you only use it once a month. This holds true for other bottled goods as well. Empty these bottles and try to re-use them. Better yet, find a recycling center near you. Practice your Feng Shui and save the environment.

Just remember to pick a healthy plant for indoor purposes. This is to ensure that your Feng Shui will be improved. It is not so advisable to nurse an already sick plant because it will only dampen the energy inside your home, office, or shop. Some people who gamble often consider sick plants as givers of bad luck. Hence, double check the over-all appearance of your plant. Make sure that it's flourishing. Traditionally, plants are considered pleasant and give a serene ambiance. Here are some of the best choices if you're also looking for their Feng Shui value.

Obviously, we have the Money Plant (Dracaena). It is part of the evergreen family and promises to shower wealth and long life. The Impala Lily (Advenium obesum) is the flower of prosperity and wealth. It is advisable to position this plant in your living room space or place of business. Various Cacti ward off evil spirits so that your good qi is not disturbed in that space. The Chili plant is for wealth and growth. During Chinese New Year, people also bring plum blossoms to brighten up their homes because these are considered lucky as well.
