Telepathy: The Psychic Mind Language

By Tana Hoy

Was there ever a time in your life wherein for some reason, you could hear someone's thoughts? Or how about knowing what someone was about to say, before he or she had said it? Have you ever experienced wanting something to happen, and at the end, it did happen? If you have experienced either one of these things, it is a sign that you have a psychic ability known as telepathy.

Telepathy, as defined by the Merriam and Webster, is the "communication from one mind to another by extrasensory means." The term telepathy was first coined by a researcher named Fredric W. H. Myers way back in 1882. This term was developed to replace the old expression "thought-transference" which they once used to describe mind reading. Technically speaking, telepathy is a psychic gift that allows people to communicate with each other, only through the mind. Also, a person with the psychic gift of telepathy, is able to read the minds of others, and even control them.

A person with telepathic abilities is considered to have a very strong extrasensory perception or ESP. There are two forms of telepathy -- it can either be projective or perceptive. A perceptive telepathic is one that can receive and read thoughts of others well. One good example is knowing who is calling before you even answer the phone. On the other hand, perceptive telepathy focuses on projecting or sending thoughts to others, such as thinking of someone to call you and it happens.

This psychic power is so popular these days, that it is often depicted in fictional characters. Take for example from X-Men alone. Professor X and Jean Grey both have telepathic powers. Kids are fond of them, adults do not seem to be. Why? Because they think that these powers are not real. Well yes, these movie characters are just fictional, but telepathy with psychics is real, because psychics are real. In fact, the psychic community calls the telepathic ability as the "psychic mind language".

Despite the many occasions that a psychic has demonstrated telepathy, there are still many out there who still refuse to believe its reality. This is because that there is no scientific basis on how any psychic gift came to be, and this is why people doubt the existence of such psychic powers.

What these skeptics don't know, is that telepathy has been used all throughout the world's history and until now. Take for example the mother-baby relationships. We are all aware that new born babies do not know how to speak, or convey their wants or needs through body language. Yet, their mothers always know what these babies need and want.

The word psychic refers to the mind, and we are all born psychic. This means that all of us has an innate psychic ability within us that lay dormant because we are not aware about it. For individuals who are aware and accept their gifts however, they have reached a stornger telepathic degree than others; and like any other talents, telepathy can be enhanced and further developed as well through acceptance, meditation, and practice.

The psychic mind language of telepathy is indeed a remarkable ability. What is even more remarkable, is that anyone with the right mindset and will power, has the ability to learn this gift.
