Best Psychics: How To Detect Psychic Scams

By Tana Hoy

Have you ever tried searching for the best psychics over the internet and ended up booking a bogus psychic reader? With the number of online psychic mediums that all claim to be the best psychics in the field, it's definitely tricky to find a genuine psychic reader who can really give authentic psychic readings.

Here are a few tips to recognize a scam:

1. Ridiculous promo rates and offers - a 10% discount on your first session is reasonable but up to 50% for a monthly subscription may be a little questionable. Remember that one of the best strategies to lure customers into a scam is to offer low prices or lots of free readings in exchange for personal information. The best psychics will never settle for a rate below the market average so make sure to compare prices before setting any appointments.

2. Evil curses and bad spirits - this is a very common strategy for scammers. If your psychic reader starts to tell you about the presence of a negative energy that surrounds you, be wary. Genuine readers will give you advice on how to get rid of these bad spirits without asking for any extra payment. Scammers, however, would raise the price of their service, telling you that they will need to use more psychic power to remove these curses. That is, of course not true. The best psychics can easily manage any unwanted spiritual presence without any difficulty.

3. Souvenir items and add-ons - A great deal of fake psychics go for this technique. If clients like yourself would like to chase away negative energies or even just try to increase attraction from the opposite sex, don't fall for psychics who oblige you to purchase items from their shops. The best psychics would promote their use, but it's only scammers who pressure you into paying for these items, even with inexpensive discounts. As a client you have the choice to purchase what you want, so don't be forced by such offers.
