Do Numerology Readings Really Work?

By Barbara Mac Intosh

Throughout the ages people have denounced numerology readings as only a superstition or a quasi-religion, but really numerology may not be much different than sociology or psychology. All are intricate methods to quantify assorted characteristics and trends and subsequently apply them in calculations and/or for aims of foreseeing specific events, trends, or inevitabilities. That is, there are several ways to investigate the same set of conditions and problems.

Therefore, the decision is not whether or not numerology number and/or numerology compatibility is valid. But rather, the argument is whether numerology offers more dependable results than any other accessible method. Specifically, will the science of numerology match the competition, surpass them, or fall short?

To be able to answer that question, it is essentially imperative to settle on some guidelines. Each person has the opportunity to decide their own parameters, but must additionally take into consideration that no scientific method existing today can accurately foresee the behavior of intelligent creatures 100 percent of the time.

If the case counter to numerology readings and numerology compatibility is that it neglects to consider distinct situations or circumstances, it follows that the exact allegation could be made against sociologists or anyone else making broad conclusions and trying to apply them to individuals. There will continually be statistical outliers as well as those that do not quite conform to a mold.

Because it is not possible for any person to employ a method that uses broad statistics to determine their future with any amount of certainty, the only reasonable method to compare numerology number and/or numerology compatibility reports to alternative existing methods is to see how accurate or inaccurate they are for large groups of people and/or smaller groups of people over a longer period of time.

A few web sites have been utilizing numerology compatibility as a basis of their relationship matching algorithms for some time now, although the number crunching may be very advanced and might factor in other conditions. The fact that some webs sites that do offer numerology compatibility reports have produced a great number of successful marriages speaks well for numerology readings in general.

Psychological, sociological, and many times Astrological factors are also allowed for by these sites, which can make it complicated to separate one aspect from the others. In spite of this, it does bring up a good point: If everything is related to ones point of view, can numerology just be viewed as looking at the same situation from a different perspective? It would certainly seem so.
