Super Moon May Affect the Royal Wedding

By Lou Raedwulfe

The Super Moon has been as close during these last three months, the impact of its presence being this close has left behind major earth changes, as well as, upheavals around the world, especially in the middle east. While scientists remain traditional and squarely disagree with the Moon's affect over these last three months, it is hard to ignore what has happened in the aftermath.

The Super Moon, a new coined phrase, was hard to ignore as it has not been this close in 18 years. The widespread disasters that have occurred cannot be ignored. To those who study astrology, it is very clear that the last three months are witness to the influence the Moon has on the earth.

As the Moon begins to move further away from the earth, there is one more occasion that has caught all of our attention. The Royal Wedding which takes place on April 29th between Prince William and his finance, Kate Middleton, has caused those astrologers and psychics to try and make sense of what is happening on a bigger scale. Princess Diana's astrologer has even mad some interesting comments, given the date of the wedding.

Thornton mentions that the date they picked for the wedding is less than ideal. She feels that it is very important to choose any wedding date with care because it can affect the marriage. Given the fact that the Moon may still be too close for comfort, this can have some interesting effects on their marriage. She does say that she knows there is no perfect marriage. More can be found on Martin Rogers blog on Yahoo.

Looking at the planetary configurations, it is clear that the Moon plays a critical part on the events of April 29th. On that day, the Moon is trine to the Ascendant which does indicate a good time to start something new. A wedding certainly qualifies as something new. With the Moon also being conjunct to the Midheaven, William's mother's influence will certainly be felt in spirit as well as in memory. The added emotional impact of the still, close effect of the Super Moon, will add to the tensions felt by the young couple and asserted on them by the outside world.

While fate may play a part in their relationship, Martin says that Penny believes:

"I believe these two are made for each other," said Thornton on her personal website. "They are star-matched lovers and their marriage should be strong and lasting."

The impact of the public scrutiny that will follow them could take trivial matters and blow them out of proportion. This situation is enhanced by the square of the Moon to the North Node of the Moon. Here, too, the specter of the fate of Princess Diana will haunt William in particular and it will be Kate's role to remind him that they can overcome these hurdles and, ultimately, complete the transformation that Diana envisioned.

Add to all of these aspects the emotional and tidal impact of the Moon's close passage, and the effect is magnified significantly. Does the Super Moon create a chaotic beginning for William and Kate? I answer with an old saying: Beginnings are such fragile times.

For the Royal Couple, I concur with Penny Thorton's appraisal that they are bound together by fate and will ride the tides of fortune together. Those tides heighted by the pull of the Moon as it races past will have an effect on them. Intense, yes, but for those two strong young hearts, they can weather the storm. I wish them well.
