DREAM EXAMPLE OF A TROUBLED MARRIAGE DREAM

A married woman dreamt she's nude standing in the den of an old house. On the walls of the den are huge pictures which cover most of the walls. On the floor, the woman sees a soft white sheepskin rug. She walks over, picks up the sheepskin and places it over her bare breast and shoulders wrapped over her upper body.

The woman slowly looks around the room; her eyes focus on a large door in the corner of the room. Curiosity aroused by the unknown just beyond the door, the woman walks over to the door, frozen, pauses and stands in front of the door feeling puzzled. Getting her confidence back, she reaches down, grabs hold of the doorknob still not altogether understanding the emotions she's feeling. The woman slowly opens the door. Inside the door, she sees steps leading down into a small dark room.

In the room, the woman sees the hazy shadow of a man smoking a cigarette dressed in dark clothing standing in an overbearing stance in the far corner; he motions her to come down the steps to him. Eyes focusing on the man; the woman hesitates. She loosens her grip on the sheepskin letting it to fall to the floor revealing her nudity. She then slowly starts walking down the steps. She awakens just before she ever reaches the bottom step of the wood floor in the dark room.
